Pussy Galore II

OTTO: Our guest PGII has been with us for a couple weeks now and as you can see we're managing to eat together or at least watch Woolly Bear eat without fussing.

MELROSE: When Pussy Galore II first arrived, she was quite shy and spent most of her time in the bathroom cupboard:

MELROSE: This didn't faze me at all, since I pretty much ignored her. She stayed upstairs, so I colonized the downstairs and slept on my new red chair:


OTTO: Actually it's Daddy Kevin's new red chair.

MELROSE: Actually, it's MY new red chair.

OTTO: And I would sit in MY black chair:

MELROSE: But don't get the impression that I'm lazy. In fact I've become very active and personable, now that the cold winter is over and the late spring is upon us. I've been known to let loose my inner kitten and run after a feather toy:

MELROSE: Or play the odd game with Spaz Cat (usually he starts it):

MELROSE: And I really got into sniffing Daddy's Kevin's new shoes...

OTTO: And you think I'M the weird one...

MELROSE: And this past week I've been more adventuresome about hanging out upstairs where PGII is. So I sniff out the banister:

MELROSE: And now that PGII spends time in the den, I climb up onto my little corner in the same room so I keep an eye on her:


MELROSE: And PGII likes to chase the laser toy just like I do. And doesn't she look like a fur ball on wheels when she does?

OTTO: But actually I'm the one who spends most of the time watching her cause I like to pounce on her...


MELROSE: Yes, I know what it's like to be pounced on by Spaz Cat. And let me tell you, PGII does not like it. Imagine this sequence last night:



OTTO: Yeah I chaseded her under the bed! But why won't she play with me?

MELROSE: OMG, dear readers, I am going to have to teach Spaz Cat some manners.
